Every week, children in Anderson, Alexandria, and Frankton public schools legally attend Awaken during school hours. We come alongside administrators and teachers as a supportive ally in their mission to serve students, our schools, and our community.

During the school year, children who have their parent's permission are released from public school one day per week to attend one hour of Bible-based, Christian instruction.

Children are escorted by their Awaken teachers and walk (or are bussed) to a nearby church for class.

Each child in Awaken is given their own Bible. They are taught the importance of the Bible and how it applies to their lives. At the end of the year, children take their Bibles home and are encouraged to continue studying God's Word.

Success Stories. We often hear from teachers how the Awaken program has helped their classrooms. After our program, students treat each other with more respect and civility, allowing for better classroom instruction.
